C. H. Fenstermaker & Associates, L.L.C., is pleased to announce the addition of Senior Engineer Mark Dubroc, P.E., to the firm’s engineering team. A licensed engineer in the state of Louisiana, Mr. Dubroc has over 37 years of experience and is the former owner and President of Dubroc Engineering in Lafayette, LA. Mr. Dubroc has an extensive career portfolio, which includes site planning, design, and construction management of roadways and bridges, structures, residential land developments, drainage systems, municipal water treatment plants, and sewer collection facilities.
Vice President of Engineering Raymond Reaux, P.E., stated, “We are excited to have Mark join the Fenstermaker team. Mark’s vast and unique experience in the many facets of civil engineering will substantially strengthen our company.”
Mr. Dubroc served as Director of the Public Works Department of the Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) from July of 2017 to January of this year. During this time, Mr. Dubroc managed a staff of 335 people and handled a yearly operating budget of $58 million, and an annual Capital Improvement Program of $50 million.
Mr. Dubroc co-founded Dubroc Engineering in 1994 and was a principal of the firm until joining LCG in 2017. He began his engineering career as a Design Engineer with Sellers, Dubroc and Associates, Inc, another Lafayette firm, in 1981.
Mr. Dubroc obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University in 1980. Throughout his career, he has worked to promote the profession of engineering on local, state and national levels. Mr. Dubroc has been actively involved with the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Council of Engineering Companies of Louisiana (ACECL), and the Louisiana Engineering Society (National Society of Professional Engineers).
